- Behavior support is offered when an individual demonstrates any significant and consistent behavior issues that affect his/her life experiences in the community.
- Behavior Support is provided by a licensed Behavior Analyst, who uses a “Data Tracking Forms” to track information on the individual’s behaviors, like frequency, degree, time, patterns, antecedents and consequence.
- A Functional Behavior assessment is performed.
- The Behavior Analyst develops a plan as to which specific behaviors are addressed and what specific interventions and supports are provided to address the behaviors.
- The plan addresses specific issues in a specific manner and provides an avenue for success.
- The plan is reviewed and approved by the Community Support Team (CST)
- The plan is reviewed and approved by the Behavior Management Committee.
- The plan is reviewed and approved by the Agency’s Human Rights Committee.
